The West Kowloon Magistrates’ Court heard Chung had admitted under caution he had had sex with the dog, but claimed that it did not resist. He said he had known the dog for two years and had fed it occasionally but had never previously had sex with it, Headline Daily reported.
Chung’s lawyer told the court that he suffered from alcohol abuse and since the incident he had lost his job.
The magistrate told Chung that a prison sentence was unavoidable and remanded him in custody. The court will hand down its penalty on April 21 after receiving psychiatric and background reports.
